Sisu v Tucker

[2006] 1 All ER 167

Court: High Court
Date of Judgment: 28.10.05
David Drake

In proceedings to which Administrators and Liquidators were parties, and in which an order for costs had been made in their favour, it was not possible for them to recover costs in respect of time spent by their staff on disclosure and other tasks related to the litigation, notwithstanding the fact that the court had endorsed as reasonable and proportionate the voluntary decision to have those tasks discharged by such staff rather than solicitors.
