Court of Appeal judgment in Cowan v Foreman [2019] EWCA Civ 1336

Judgment was handed down today in the Court of Appeal in the case of Cowan v Foreman [2019] EWCA Civ 1336. The case revolved around the Appellant's application to extend the 6-month time limit for a claim pursuant under section 4 of the 1975 Act. Richard Wilson QC (instructed by Farrer & Co) appeared for the First, Second and Fourth Defendants.

In February 2019, Mr Justice Mostyn handed down his judgment in Cowan v Foreman [2019] EWHC 349 (Fam) and dismissed the application.
