Serle Court arbitrators have extensive experience of international and domestic arbitrations. Most are members of the London Court of International Arbitration and many serve on arbitration panels in London, Europe, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. They include judges of high eminence, Sir Mark Waller, Sir Raymond JackHoward Page QC and Richard Southwell QC.

The range of matters arbitrated includes disputes between governments, international contracts, intellectual property, joint ventures, oil and gas and partnership.

As well as serving as arbitrators, members of chambers frequently appear as counsel or expert witnesses in arbitrations in England and abroad and in arbitration claims.  Philip Marshall QC is ranked as a leading silk in The Legal 500, International arbitration: counsel.


Our mediators bring to the mediation process the skills which they have honed in their legal practices, including thorough preparation, objective risk analysis, commercial awareness and an in depth knowledge of litigation, combined with mediation and negotiation skills and a wide experience both as mediators and as representatives in mediation.

The disputes they mediate reflect the wide range of practice areas at Serle Court, covering disputes in the fields of company law, contractual disputes, charities, employment, private client trusts and probate, banking and financial services, ICT, intellectual property, private international law, partnership and property.
