Established Practitioners

Over the last few years, a number of high-quality practitioners (both silks and established juniors) have joined Serle Court from other leading sets. We have aimed to facilitate a smooth transition between sets and provide a happy and supportive working environment for new members.

Chambers has resolved upon a programme of strategic expansion in the coming years. We particularly invite applications from silks and juniors over 10 years’ call with excellent reputations and established and successful practices in the following practice areas:

• Commercial litigation and arbitration
• Civil fraud
• Partnership
• Company
• Insolvency
• Intellectual property
• Charities
• Real property, where, in addition, we seek applications from juniors at every level of call.

We also remain interested in hearing from first-class experienced practitioners in our other fields of practice, or in the fields listed above but at a more junior level.

Juniors under 7 years’ call generally need to demonstrate not only exceptional ability but also that they will bring a busy practice with them. In the case of specialist property juniors, portability of practice is a desirable but not a necessary criterion.
