Working With Us

Solicitors

Most of Serle Court’s work comes directly from solicitors. You can instruct our barristers through our Practice Management Team or by contacting them directly.

Overseas Lawyers

A significant proportion of our work originates overseas. We maintain strong relationships with professional clients in all the main jurisdictions.

In-House/ Licensed Access

Members of Serle Court are happy to take direct instructions from in-house lawyers and from licensed access practitioners.

Public Access

Under the Public Access Scheme (PAS), members of the public and commercial and non-commercial organisations can now instruct barristers directly on most civil matters.

Serle Court has long been at the forefront of alternative dispute resolution. Our History

Serle Court came into existence in late 1999 as the product of the merger of two illustrious sets practising from Thirteen Old Square, Lincoln’s Inn and One Hare Court in the Temple. The One Hare Court and Thirteen Old Square barristers moved together to a new flagship building in Lincoln’s Inn, and both adopted that building’s name, Serle Court, as the name for the merged Chambers.
