Kathryn Purkis has been Chambers Director at Serle Court since 2022. She is a former member of Chambers, and therefore a non-practising barrister. She is also a non-practising Jersey Advocate, and gained experience of professional services management as managing partner at an offshore firm. She is a member of the Legal Practice Management Association.
As Chambers Director, she has ultimate responsibility for the running of Serle Court, the management of all the staff, and for the development of business at the set. She plays a central role in setting strategy, in championing equality, diversity and inclusion in Chambers, and in recruitment. She oversees the implementation and development of tech solutions, ensures compliance, and strives to deliver best practice in every dimension of Chambers’ operations.
