Constance McDonnell QC quoted in The Daily Telegraph regarding delay in marriage and wills rules

In an article for The Daily Telegraph, titled 'New rules to stop 'predators' from tricking vulnerable into marriage delayed by Brexit', journalist Harry Brennan, discusses how vulnerable people and their life savings may still be at risk from predators. Following a delay caused by Brexit, a much-anticipated bill that seeks to tighten the rules on marriage and wills has been put on hold. Constance McDonnell QC said the current lack of protection was "startling", adding: "Heirs and beneficiaries of the deceased could find themselves completely disinherited due to these rules, while a predatory spouse walks away with hundreds of thousands of pounds."
