David Ruben

David Ruben joined Serle Court in 2019, and has been Head of Operations since 2023.

David is responsible for the management of Chambers’ facilities, buildings repair and maintenance, fire regulation, emergency procedure, security, and health and safety. He is also responsible for the management of the outdoor clerking function and oversees the housekeeping team. He has an experienced operations team assisting with court logistics, events and hospitality, and office administration.

David has over 25 years working in barristers’ chambers, and his knowledge of operations at the Bar and in commercial settings is invaluable to his role as Head of Operations.
