Artificial Intelligence in International Dispute Resolution: Build, Buy or Be Left Be

Location: Chancery House, 53-64 Chancery Ln, London, WC2A 1QS

Serle Court is excited to partner with Keidan Harrison LLP to present "Artificial Intelligence in International Dispute Resolution: Build, Buy or Be Left Be" at LIDW 2026.

This session explores how law firms are developing and embedding artificial intelligence as part of their core strategy, rather than treating AI as a purely technical or experimental tool.

Drawing on Keidan Harrison’s experience of establishing its own internal AI Strategy Group and running an AI Hackathon, the discussion will examine the strategic choices firms face when deciding whether to build proprietary tools, buy off‑the‑shelf solutions, or adopt a hybrid approach.

The panel will also consider where AI is realistically heading in the legal industry, the competitive advantages it can create for disputes practices, and how firms can deploy AI to enhance efficiency, insight and decision‑making while maintaining quality, judgment and professional standards.

Speakers
  • Luke Harrison - Keidan Harrison and Visiting Lecturer at Queen Mary University (Chair)
  • David Jones - Keidan Harrison LLP
  • David Blayney KC - Serle Court
