Global Leaders in The Who’s Who Legal Asset Recovery Guide 2022

We are pleased to announce that Hugh Norbury QC and Jonathan Adkin QC have been recommended as Global Leaders in the Who's Who Legal (WWL) Asset Recovery Guide 2022.

Hugh Norbury QC has been involved in many of the larger multi-party fraud cases in recent years, including Vale v Steinmetz & ors; ArcelorMittal v Essar Steel and BTA Bank v Ablyazov, which culminated in 14 week trial in the Commercial Court reported at [2013] EWHC 510 (Comm).  He also acted until settlement in late 2018 on a £100m+ conspiracy claim brought by a credit hire company against a number of firms of solicitors and experts they instructed (Accident Exchange v Autofocus and others). 

"Jonathan Adkin QC is highlighted for his detailed knowledge of fraud and asset recovery law."  Prominent mandates include The Public Institution for Social Security v Al-Rajaan, a fraud claim involving Kuwait’s pension fund (in which Jonathan acted for one of the Defendants), Berezovsky v Abramovich, Orb ARL v Ruhan, Patarkatsishvili v Anisimov, and the Pugachev litigation.  Jonathan (assisted by Adil Mohamedbhai) acts for the Defendant trustee in Wong & Anor v Grand View Private Trust Company Ltd.
