Cambridge Law Review Announces Serle Court Chambers Essay Prize Winner

Earlier this year, we announced our partnership with the Cambridge Law Review to sponsor a monetary award for the best submission to Volume 10, Issue 2 on any English commercial law and/or equity topic.

We are excited to share that Canel Atik has been awarded the Serle Court Chambers Essay Prize for her winning article:
‘Authorised Push, Institutional Pull: A Critical Appraisal of Competing Priorities in the UK's APP Fraud Reimbursement Regime’.

Canel’s article has now been published in Issue 2, and is available to be read on the Cambridge Law Review website: https://www.cambridgelawreview.org/_files/ugd/fb0f90_6eadf730737a4f98b6d07d44ea09d22a.pdf

Zoe O’Sullivan KC, Chair of Serle Court’s pupillage committee, commented:

Canel’s article addresses an important and pressing topic about how to provide consumer remedies for online fraud, particularly in the wake of the Supreme Court’s decision in Barclays Bank v Philipp.

Congratulations to Canel on this well-deserved achievement. We are pleased to support the work of the Cambridge Law Review and its contributors.
