Jennifer Haywood discusses recent challenges to arbitral awards in The Global Legal Post

Writing in The Global Legal Post, Jennifer Haywood assesses a number of recent cases in which a party has sought, but failed, to challenge an arbitral award under section 68 of the Arbitration Act 1996, highlighting the difficulty in challenging an award on the basis of an irregularity.

A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Jennifer has been appointed as a sole arbitrator, as co- arbitrator and as presiding arbitrator, in disputes involving partnerships, pharmaceuticals, media contracts and finance agreements. She has been appointed to the BVI International Arbitration Centre Panel, the Court of Arbitration for Art and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre List of Arbitrators.
