Serle Court announces Hereford Litigation as new sponsor of 6th International Trusts & Commercial Litigation Conference 2023 in New York

Serle Court have agreed a new sponsorship partnership with Hereford Litigation, a global litigation funder.

Hereford Litigation has been named as the ‘Principal Sponsor’ of the Serle Court 6th International Trusts & Commercial Litigation Conference 2023. Taking place at the iconic Rainbow Room, on the 65th Floor of the Rockefeller Center, New York City on Monday, 6th November 2023.  The industry-leading conference is already fully booked due to popular demand.

The annual International Trusts & Commercial Litigation conference, now in its sixth year, attracts international lawyers and advocates, litigation funders, insolvency practitioners, and funds specialists from across the world, each year seeking to maintain its unique appeal by offering exclusive networking opportunities to the chambers’ clients in the Private Client, Commercial and Offshore sectors.  Clients and delegates have commented that the conference: "...sits head and shoulders above the competition..." “is a great balance between learning and networking,” and "is an excellent showpiece for chambers."

This year’s sponsor, Hereford Litigation, is a global third-party litigation funder.  Hereford’s team brings intellectual rigour, experience, discretion and independence of thought to the cases that Hereford takes on. Founded in 2021 by Edward Devereux KC, Hereford funds litigation and special situations globally, including the recently announced multi-billion pound competition lawsuit against Google.

Members of the Hereford team, Edward Grundy (Managing Partner), Ben Mays (Partner) and Elly Brindle (Partner) will be attending the conference and look forward to meeting the conference delegates.

Charlotte Davidson, Business Development Director at Serle Court, commented:

“Serle Court is delighted that Hereford Litigation and the Hereford team are sponsoring our New York conference in November. The synergies between the disputes that Serle Court’s barristers are instructed on, and those that Hereford are financing are considerable, and this new partnership will provide opportunities for both parties, for this year and beyond. We are very pleased to have Hereford on board.”

Edward Grundy, Hereford’s managing partner, said:

“Hereford Litigation funds litigation and special situations globally, so we’re delighted to be supporting an event of the calibre and international reach of Serle Court’s International Trusts & Commercial Litigation Conference in New York.  We know that this is an eagerly anticipated fixture on the calendar of many litigation and trust professionals from the UK, US, the offshore jurisdictions and beyond, as it is for the Hereford team.”
