Serle Court welcomes new member - Wilson Leung

We are delighted to announce that Wilson Leung has joined Chambers as a full-time member.  His arrival adds to Serle Court’s already thriving commercial litigation and international disputes practices.  Wilson, who was called to the Bar in Hong Kong in 2008 and will remain, albeit from London, a tenant of Temple Chambers, has an established complex commercial litigation practice with particular emphasis in company, insolvency, contract, trusts, probate, and banking disputes.

He is ranked in the legal directories as a leading junior and described by clients as an “academic high-flier who speaks with great flair”, “absolutely superb” and “always well-prepared with an excellent command of the facts and law”.

Kathryn Purkis, Chambers Director commented:

“We are absolutely delighted that Wilson has chosen to join Serle Court. He is thought of by his peers in Hong Kong as an absolute star, and is much liked and very highly regarded by all his clients. He has a very strong commercial litigation practice and considerable international experience; as such, he is a great fit for us and further enhances our team of talented barristers working in this practice area, and in the region itself. We very much look forward to having him as a colleague and supporting him to develop his career in London.”

Commenting on his appointment, Wilson said:

“I have always admired Serle Court and am very proud to be joining such an impressive set as a member of Chambers.  I am looking forward to working alongside so many brilliant barristers at all levels to contribute to Chambers’ international reputation in commercial litigation.”
