Emma joined Serle Court in 2008 and was promoted to Deputy Practice Director in May 2023. Her responsibilities include the management and development of the practices of all members of chambers, fee negotiation, distribution of work, the listing of cases at Court, business development, and the management of client relationships. She is also responsible for managing the practices of our mediators. Emma sits on the Equality and Diversity Committee.
Before joining Chambers, Emma studied English at the University of Southampton and spent four years working at The Daily Telegraph.
In 2018, Emma attained the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management with the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) and has also completed the BTEC Advanced Certificate in Chambers Administration. She is a member of the IBC.
