Serle Court welcomes Isaac Wong and Henry Fahrenkamp

Serle Court is pleased to announce that Isaac Wong and Henry Fahrenkamp have joined chambers as our newest junior tenants, effective today, Wednesday, 1 October 2025, following the successful completion of their pupillage.

Isaac joined chambers in 2025 following the successful completion of pupillage, under the supervision of Jennifer Meech, Matthew Morrison KC, Thomas Elias, Emma Hargreaves, and Michael Walsh KC. He is developing a broad commercial chancery practice across Chambers’ practice areas, including commercial litigation, company, civil fraud, private client, property, arbitration, and offshore work.

Before joining the Bar, Isaac studied Law at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, graduating with double first-class honours. He then completed the BCL at Oxford with Merit and the BVS at City, University of London with Distinction. He has been awarded multiple scholarships, including the Queen Mother Scholarship from Middle Temple.

Isaac is a non-stipendiary lecturer at Hertford College, Oxford, and a visiting lecturer at King’s College London. He has also obtained the MCIArb qualification.

Henry joined Chambers in October 2025 after completing pupillage under the supervision of Michael Walsh KC, Harry Martin, Thomas Elias, Gareth Tilley and Oliver Jones.

Henry is building a broad commercial and chancery practice across Chambers’ core specialisms. As a pupil, he assisted with an array of contentious and non-contentious matters across practice areas including property, company, civil fraud, offshore and international, and private client.

Before coming to the Bar, Henry was a stipendiary lecturer in law at Magdalen College and New College, Oxford. He maintains a keen interest in classical Roman law, a subject which he will continue to teach at Oxford alongside his practice.

Chambers Director, Kathryn Purkis said: “The warmest of welcomes to our newest members of Chambers, Isaac Lok Wang Wong and Henry Fahrenkamp. Chambers wishes them every success and we have no doubt at all that they will flourish here, and at the Commercial Chancery Bar.
