STEP Asia Conference 2025

Richard Wilson KC will be speaking at the STEP Asia Conference 2025, which is taking place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Hong Kong, from 6th – 7th November. 

Richard will be speaking on Thursday, 6th November at 17:10 (HKT). He will join his fellow panellists, Nancy Chien (Bedell Cristin) and Kerby Lau (Des Voeux Chambers), for their session titled 'Bless you.' This discussion will explore how trustees and other power holders are increasingly looking to the courts to bless what are described as “momentous decisions”. The panel will examine the circumstances behind such applications, when and why a trustee would need such a blessing and the attitudes of the courts in a number of jurisdictions to such applications.
