The Commercial Bar Association (Combar): 2nd Gulf Meeting in Dubai 2024

Rupert Reed KC will speak at The Commercial Bar Association (Combar): 2nd Gulf Round Table on Thursday, 29 February, at the Capital Club in Dubai.

Rupert will speak at 2.25 pm (UTC+04:00) alongside Justina Stewart (Outer Temple Chambers), Rebecca Copley (Eversheds Sutherland), David Holloway (Al Tamimi) and Alex Potts KC (4 Pump Court) on Panel 1 entitled 'Banking and financial services litigation in the UAE – a rich tapestry of legal systems and challenges'. Rupert will consider 'The remaining duty of good faith in Dubai banking law’.

The meeting will follow a format similar to the successful inaugural event held in February 2023, which involved an afternoon of panel sessions with speakers from various jurisdictions, followed by drinks. 

Zoe O'Sullivan KC will also be in attendance.
