Stephanie states “Is gender diversity merely the process of ensuring that historic gender discrimination fully works its way out of the collective professional constitution?” Concluding that while huge improvement in gender diversity is unquestionable at the Bar, the next step is for “white, able-bodied, middle-class women to no longer be seen as diversity at the Bar.
