Former directors frequently complain that they were never warned of the possible personal repercussions which they might face as a consequence of placing a company into liquidation.

Giselle and Lara will conduct a whistle-stop tour of commonly overlooked ramifications of liquidation that solicitors and insolvency practitioners should warn company directors about, including:

Director Disqualification – the requirements and the allegations typically pursued by the Secretary of State
Compensation Orders – the conditions for and purpose behind such orders
Phoenix Companies – when a director’s personal liability for a “phoenix” company arises and excepted cases
