8th Journal of Private International Law Conference 2019

Location: University of Munich, Germany

The Journal of Private International Law is hosting its 8th Annual Law Conference at the University of Munich from 12-14 September 2019. Co-editor and co-founder of the Journal - Serle Court's Professor Jonathan Harris QC (Hons), is organising the conference alongside Professor Paul Beaumont FRSE of the University of Aberdeen. 

Andrew Moran QC (Serle Court) and Anthony Kennedy (BPP Law & Associate member of Serle Court) are also going to be presenting at the Journal of Private International Law Conference in Munich in September 2019. The paper there to be given is entitled: "When considering whether to recognise and enforce a foreign judgment, should the domestic court accord the foreign court international jurisdiction on the basis that the judgment debtor was domiciled there? An analysis of the approach taken by courts in the Republic of South Africa".
