Andrew Moran KC and Anthony Kennedy are the authors of Commercial Litigation in Anglophone Africa (2nd Ed Juta), an authoritative work which details the broad framework of the private international law rules in operation in each of the sixteen Anglophone jurisdictions considered: Botswana, Gambia, Ghana, Eswatini, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
In the fourth instalment of the webinar series, titled "Anglophone African Courts' Approaches to the Enforcement of Jurisdiction Clauses" the authors will be joined by guest speakers Lorraine Aboagye (Barrister, Essex Court) and Babajide Ogundipe (Partner, Sofunde, Osakwe, Ogundipe & Belgore). During the webinar:
- Anthony will discuss the approach taken by the courts of the Republic of South Africa;
- Lorraine will reflect on the attitude of the Ghanaian courts; and
- Babajide will consider how Nigerian courts address jurisdiction clauses.
