Dubai Arbitration Week 2020 will be presented virtually by GAR Interactive and DIFC-LCIA from 16 - 19 November 2020 via Zoom.
Serle Court is very pleased to be supporting the event as a Gold Sponsor. Members of chambers will be joining the virtual sessions across the four days and Rupert Reed QC will be participating in the following interactive debate on Thursday 19 November, arguing for the motion:
16:30-17:15 (12:30 GMT) The GAR Interactive Debate: This house believes that every party to an arbitration should have the right to a live, not virtual, hearing
In Oxford Union-style, we will hear teams of debaters argue in favour of, or against, the motion. A panel of judges will then voice their opinions on what has been heard, before choosing which side to support and giving reasons for their decisions.
