GGF Fund v Anglian Windows and E Realisations 2020

The High Court in London has issued guidance on the distribution of the £4 million surplus from the Glass and Glazing Federation’s Deposit Indemnity Fund, following the fund’s closure.

The court construed the rules according to which the surplus funds were held and determined that only members who were solvent at the time the fund terminated are entitled to a share.

GGF Fund Limited, the holder of the fund, was represented by Thomas Elias, instructed by Debbie Brett and Louise Low of Blandy & Blandy LLP.
