Philip has been a CEDR accredited mediator since 2009 and has conducted mediations in relation not only to disputes in England and Wales but also Jersey, Guernsey, the Cayman Islands and the BVI.
At the end of 2022 Philip ceased taking on new instructions in relation to him conducting oral advocacy and now accepts instructions only in relation to providing advice or acting as mediator or arbitrator.
Philip conducts mediations in all those practice areas in which he has specialised since he was called to the Bar.
Philip no longer makes any submissions to the Directories, but for the last year that he made submissions, Chambers & Partners 2023 named Philip as one of its 21 Stars at the Bar. He has been named by Chambers & Partners as one of the Stars at the Bar for the previous 20 years.
