A special mention goes to Stephanie Thompson, who continues to be recognised as a Rising Star, with referees praising her as "an excellent barrister, very efficient and always helpful." Congratulations also to Paul Chaisty KC and Oliver Jones for their new rankings this year. Referees highlighted Paul’s rigorous approach, noting that “Paul approaches matters in a deeply methodical way, balancing measured consideration with forceful arguments. He commands the attention of the court.” Oliver was commended as a “go-to junior in contentious trusts work,” appreciated for his skill in “getting to the nub of issues very quickly” and offering “measured but astute advice, while exercising judgement beyond his call.”

In addition to her ranking in 'Trusts and Private Wealth' and 'Commerical Disputes', Ruth Jordan was further recognised for 'Other Expertise', with referees stating that “Ruth takes a commercial approach and is easy to work with. She is straightforward, clear, and concise in her advice, and she is always very punctual in her delivery.

Our clients have highlighted Serle Court as "a superb set" with "a range of commercial and chancery expertise that is absolutely top tier." The clerks also received high praise, with one referee commenting, "The clerks here are what other chambers should aspire to. Well led by Nicholas Hockney, they are responsive, commercial, and really helpful." Also recognising Dan Wheeler, Arron Snipe, Colin Bunyan, Charlie Payne, Georgina Affor, and Jim Costa for their exceptional client service.

We are immensely proud of our members, clerks, and staff for their hard work and dedication, which have collectively contributed to this exceptional recognition. We are incredibly grateful to our referees for their invaluable feedback and to The Legal 500 for their meticulous research.
