Regulatory Futures 2021: trust and change in uncertain times

Professor Suzanne Rab will be speaking at The Solicitors Regulation Authority virtual conference ‘Regulatory Futures 2021: Trust and Change in uncertain times’ on Thursday, 9th September 2021.

The event will commence at 10.30am until 13.30pm and will be streamed live through their YouTube channel. 

The conference will be exploring the future of regulation. Offering insights from different sectors from utilities to education, financial to legal services.

Suzanne will provide commentary on developments in law and regulation on artificial intelligence (AI) and access to justice, all with cross-sectoral insights. Suzanne's session will run from 12:40 PM to 13:30 PM.

The following topics will also be discussed:

  • Regulating in uncertain times – in which direction is the regulatory pendulum moving?
  • Innovation and technology – will new technology improve access to services or risk leaving some people behind?
  • Changing behaviours – how should we respond to changing consumer expectations and the impacts of the pandemic?
  • Diversity – what role should regulators play in promoting diverse workplaces?
