#SerleShare – Jonathan Fowles comments on Lehtimaki v Childrens Investment Fund Foundation

SerleShare – Jonathan Fowles, co-editor of Tudor on Charities, 10th ed. (Sweet & Maxwell), comments on a landmark judgment which was handed down today in the Supreme Court in the much-discussed case of  Lehtimaki v Childrens Investment Fund Foundation. Jonathan provides a digestible summary as an initial reaction to the decision. Please read here.

While it is important to note at the outset that the Court expressly refrained from deciding the implications of the case for mass-membership charities, the judgment is likely to have very significant implications for the law of charities, companies, and trusts, and the relationship between those areas of law.
