PBA Conference - Property Development: obstacles, restrictions and pitfalls

Location: Online via Zoom

Andrew Francis and Amy Proferes have been invited to lead a workshop on restrictive convenants at the PBA Conference on Friday 13 November 2020.  Workshop 4 on restrictive convenants will take place from 12.00 to 1.15pm.

The attempt to “build back better” means that property practitioners need to be aware of some of the commonly encountered issues around development. The aim of the 2020 virtual PBA Conference is to provide an understanding of a selection of such issues.

Keynote addresses will be given by Lord Justice Nugee and Martin Rodger QC, Deputy President of the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber). The day closes with Guy Fetherstonhaugh QC and Joanne Wicks QC (interviewed by Brie Stevens-Hoare QC), discussing their road to success including the difficulties they have faced, reflecting on how they have arrived at where they are and the challenges for the Property Bar in 2020.
