Serle Court takes home a hat-trick of awards at the Chambers Bar Awards 2020

We are delighted to take home a hat-trick of awards in the 'Chancery' category at the Chambers UK Bar Awards 2020.  Serle Court is awarded Chancery Set of the Year, Philip Marshall QC Chancery Silk of the Year and Emma Hargreaves Chancery Junior of the Year.  Following the virtual awards ceremony on 19 November, Chambers and Partners commented on the trio of awards presented to Serle Court as "a remarkable showing and reflection of the incredible efforts over the past 12 months."

Serle Court is ranked Band 1 in both Chancery: Commercial and Chancery: Traditional by Chambers UK Bar.  The set is described by solicitors as "a leading commercial chancery chambers," and "everyone at the set is sensible, collaborative and very easy to work with."  Another source comments, "they are my favourite set to work with - they have expertise in this field, but what we love is that they are so pragmatic and commercial, real team players."

The set's administrative operation is praised by sources. "They are very easy to work with," observes a commentator, adding: "It's such a slick operation - they always provide a safe pair of hands." John Petrie is the set's chief executive and Steven Whitaker is head clerk.

We would like to thank our longstanding clients for their ongoing support and Chambers and Partners for selecting us.
