Practice Overview

Called to the English Bar by Gray's Inn in 1964. Practiced at the Commercial and Common Law Bar from 1 Hare Court from 1965; appointed Queen's Counsel in 1979 and a Recorder in 1986. Appointed High Court Judge in 1989 working mainly in the Commercial Court being the Judge in charge of that court in 1995. Appointed to the Court of Appeal in 1996. Vice-President of the Court of Appeal Civil Division 2006 until retirement in May 2010.
