#SerleShare – Anthony Kennedy discusses “Opportunities for Development in South African Private International Law”

SerleShare – Anthony Kennedy, co-author (with Andrew Moran QC) of Commercial Litigation in Anglophone Africa: The law relating to civil jurisdiction, enforcement of foreign judgments and interim remedies (Juta Publishing) discusses potential clarifications which might be made to certain private international law principles in South Africa.

Given the potential for cross-border international litigation arising from present global circumstances, South Africa presents an attractive dispute resolution forum for (at least) continent-based litigants. In his article, Anthony considers the development of certain legal principles, which development might render South Africa an even more attractive forum in the years to come.
